As you gain experience, you will find that the distant horizon begins to pull at your heartstrings. Sea kayaks were made to go places, as were the people who paddle them. This course is the gateway to safe, exciting, long distance adventures.
Building upon the boat control, balance, and rescues that you've learned and practiced previously, you will continue to refine your skills on the open water and in bigger conditions. You will also be introduced to towing, intermediate and advanced navigation, advanced assisted and self rescues, and advanced paddle strokes and refinements. The day will conclude with a tour of the local area, on which you will have the opportunity to practice and apply the skills that you learned during the day.
